APREL's work of evangelisation and pastoral vocations ministry involves various projects -

 1. Conferences and Seminars held by APREL for the Advancement of Religious Life:

APREL holds conferences or seminars for special occasions. See Events Page. These may take one of the following forms:
  • National Speaking Tour. Guest-speakers, local or international, address audiences in capital cities or larger centres, on topics related to Church teaching on Religious Life.
  • Local Seminars. A panel of local speakers address local groups in the various States or cities. Talks / workshops / Q&A may be conducted concerning the truths of Religious Life.
  • Vocation Discernment Days. Held at the initiative of individual religious or small groups of religious who combine resources to host days or weekends for young people who seek to know more about Religious Life and how one discovers a vocation to it.
2. We Publish an annual Bulletin:

All Members receive the APREL Bulletin, usually on an annual basis. 

3. Live-In Experiences or Open-Days:

Here religious communities open their doors to young people who wish to view or experience Religious Life at first hand. Conditions for these vary according to the type of community involved and its particular charism.

4. Promoting of Church documents 

Searching for the Mind of the Church on Religious Life? You could equip yourself with and study the Vatican II documents:
  • Ecclesiae Sanctae,
  • Evangelica Testificatio,
  • Essentials of Religious Life, 
  • Redemptionem Donum.
